Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLPA license is required (must be submitted with your application for consideration)
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged children in a school setting is highly desirable
- Understanding of school-based therapy practices and protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday
- Must be willing to complete required background clearances: includes a $85 CBC fingerprinting process and submission of required documentation for the contractor packet (such as TB test, fingerprint receipt, and Child Protective Registry Check)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language intervention services to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Document student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student goals and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the integration of therapy into daily classroom routines
- Uphold district procedures and maintain a positive, professional presence at all times
