Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA license or certification required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of child development and speech-language disorders
- Ability to implement therapy plans and collect data under SLP supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organized, flexible, and committed to student progress
Your Impact and Daily Responsibilities:
- Work on-site as a full-time SLPA for the complete academic year
- Deliver direct therapy to K-12 students, adapting to a wide range of ages and abilities
- Help facilitate small group and individual sessions as outlined by supervising SLP
- Support the development of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary team members, including classroom staff and families
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
