School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Willimantic, CT

Begin working as soon as possible and continue through June 2027. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35-37.5 hours per week. Flexibility is key, as you may support multiple school sites, collaborating closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and other educational professionals to deliver high-quality services.
Key qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification recognized for school practice
- Experience with pediatric populations in educational environments preferred
- Ability to provide therapy support and carry out treatment plans under SLP supervision
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability for managing multiple caseloads or sites
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities
What you'll do:
- Assist in delivering speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12
- Contribute to progress monitoring, goal tracking, and data collection
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support students' educational plans
- Adapt to serving students at more than one school location, as needed
- Help foster a positive, inclusive classroom experience for students with communication challenges
