School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Westlake, Louisiana

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Louisiana SLPA license required by the start date
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but not essential

- Commitment to maintaining ethical practices and confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, following prescribed intervention plans from supervising SLPs
- Assist with evaluations, assessments, and data collection under supervision
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and help develop strategies to individualize student support
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and learning
