Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Waterbury, CT

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Connecticut
- Previous school-based experience (required)
- District-required background check and fingerprint clearance
- Ability to provide documentation of eligibility and credentials; upfront licenses are a plus
- Proficiency with diverse student populations and collaborative work environments
- Credentialed applicants will receive priority consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision and guidance of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students’ communication goals in both individual and group settings
- Document progress and session data accurately in accordance with district standards
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors, educators, and caregivers
- Participate in IEP meetings and school team collaboration as requested
- Adhere to school and district policies and best practices
Role Details:
- Contract role, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Standard hours: 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM
- One elementary school building, enabling continuity with students and staff
- Immediate start through June 11, 2027
- One opening; Zoom interviews conducted for selected candidates
