School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Waterbury, Connecticut

What We’re Looking For:
- Active Connecticut SLPA license (required for all applicants)
- Previous school-based experience, with a history of working with children
- Ability to complete all district-required fingerprinting and background checks before start
- Upfront credentialing and licenses appreciated
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to the contract period through June 11, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students in achieving their communication goals as outlined in IEPs
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
- Collaborate with school staff, SLP supervisors, and families to foster student success
- Prepare materials and activities to enhance therapy sessions
- Assist with timely documentation and reporting as required by school protocols
