Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Waelder, TX

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

- Understanding of speech and language developmental milestones in children and adolescents
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with students, staff, and families
- Ability to follow therapy plans provided by Speech-Language Pathologists and adapt as needed
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to support caseloads across K-12
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed to improve communication skills
- Collect and record progress data on student performance
- Assist in preparing materials and scheduling sessions
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP to report progress or concerns
- Support student IEP goals in accordance with school and district guidelines
