Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Turlock, CA

- Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly elementary programs
- Background working with special education (SPED) populations
- Comfortable collaborating with a team of educators, therapists, and families
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to implement and track individualized therapy plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support IEP goals for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy in daily routines
- Maintain accurate records and session notes in line with school and district protocols
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of an elementary SPED caseload
- Attend team meetings and contribute insights for student progress
