Essential Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or certification
  • Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
  • Organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Speech Language Pathologist with implementing therapy plans for students
  • Support students’ engagement in communication skill-building activities
  • Document student progress and communicate updates to supervising clinicians and educational staff
  • Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings when required
  • Contribute to a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere for students of various ages
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards within the school setting
