Essential Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
- Organizational skills for managing schedules and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech Language Pathologist with implementing therapy plans for students
- Support students’ engagement in communication skill-building activities
- Document student progress and communicate updates to supervising clinicians and educational staff
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings when required
- Contribute to a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere for students of various ages
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards within the school setting
