Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification in California
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Understanding of both individual and group therapy techniques for children
- Ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families
- Proficiency with documentation and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under supervision
- Support data collection, assessment, and progress monitoring
- Assist with IEP documentation and goal setting as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to generalize speech and language skills
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
