Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Concord, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in California
- Previous experience within school settings (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff
- Organizational skills to manage time across varying caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out speech and language therapy activities as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Provide one-on-one or group interventions for students as directed
- Collect and record student progress data for ongoing assessment
- Prepare materials and adapt resources for student needs
- Participate in team meetings as appropriate
- Facilitate safe, supportive environments for student learning
