Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active North Carolina SLPA license required
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to work effectively across multiple campuses and collaborate with a diverse team
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to manage a range of student caseloads and adapt to varying environments
- Open to both local and travel candidates
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups, adapting to each student's needs
- Document session outcomes, progress, and challenges in alignment with school/district requirements
- Support generalization of communication strategies across classroom and school routines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to achieve student goals
- Maintain compliance with all state and local regulations for school-based practice
This position offers a steady weekday schedule—Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week—with the opportunity to work directly onsite and build relationships across multiple local schools.
