School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Hope Mills, NC

This contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant runs from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers a full-time, onsite schedule—Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of elementary, middle, and high school students, collaborating with other professionals dedicated to student success.
Required Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions for children and adolescents
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities and reliability
- Adaptability to work at multiple school locations during the assignment
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist with the assessment and documentation of student progress toward IEP goals
- Prepare materials and support therapy sessions for individuals and groups
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Communicate with school staff and parents regarding students’ progress
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment to facilitate student growth
- Travel between school sites as assigned within the district
