Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Hope Mills, NC

This full-time position spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 13, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced speech-language pathologists, teachers, and school staff on-site to provide high-quality interventions at various campuses.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Hold an active North Carolina SLPA license (required)
- Recent school-based SLPA experience is highly valued
- Adaptability to serve diverse age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as assigned
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with individualized education programs (IEPs) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under SLP supervision
- Implement individual and group intervention plans with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Foster open communication with students, teachers, and families
- Actively attend school meetings and professional development as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school district policies
