Key Qualifications:
- Holds all required Indiana licensure for school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is valued, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proficient at assisting with speech therapy activities, documentation, and progress tracking
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions
- Assist with assessments, data collection, and creating materials for student use
- Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment to encourage student communication progress
- Monitor and report student progress to supervising SLP and contribute to team meetings as needed
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with school and legal standards
