Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active SLPA credential that meets all current Indiana requirements for school-based settings
- Demonstrated experience or training in providing speech/language support to children (caseload and age range to be finalized)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt to varied student needs and settings within a school environment
- Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about supporting student growth
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following individualized education plans
- Assist with therapy documentation, progress tracking, and material preparation
- Support the SLP with data collection and report preparation
- Encourage student participation and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere during therapy sessions
- Communicate with teachers and staff to coordinate and reinforce speech/language goals
