The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, allowing you to see the progress and impact of your work.
Schedule flexibility is a highlight of this role. You'll split your week between a K-4 building and a junior high (2.5 days at each location), working regular daytime hours—ideal for work/life balance.
Requirements:
- Valid Indiana SLPA license
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while seeking support when needed
- Passion for helping K-8 students reach their fullest potential
What you'll do:
- Provide direct treatment for students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with implementing IEP goals and documenting student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Prepare and utilize instructional materials and activities
- Travel between school sites as scheduled
