Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure (Illinois and/or relevant state certification)
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set student-specific goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs and progress
- Participate in team meetings to support students’ educational success
