School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Salem, New Hampshire

This part-time contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a passion for helping young learners succeed. Beginning August 24, 2026, and running through June 17, 2027, you’ll work onsite three days a week (21 hours total), collaborating with a team dedicated to fostering communication growth within a diverse caseload.
As an integral part of this school’s support system, you will serve students in both 2nd-5th grade classrooms and a dynamic ABA self-contained program, with occasional assignments supporting preschoolers. Utilizing your school-based experience, you’ll have opportunities to develop your skills and build strong connections with students, families, and colleagues.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Current, active SLPA licensure in New Hampshire
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language services
- Comfort and flexibility to work with both elementary and preschool-aged students
- Ability to navigate the needs of an ABA self-contained program
- Completion of district fingerprinting before the start date
Your responsibilities will include providing direct therapy services, collaborating with teachers and special education staff, supporting IEP goals, documenting progress, and contributing creative solutions to help each student achieve their fullest communication potential.
