Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity runs from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a welcoming environment to put your SLPA skills to work supporting students’ communication development. The assignment is a split position between a middle school and a high school, offering the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make a tangible difference in students’ educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active SLPA state licensure required
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Proficient in conversational sign language (ASL) to facilitate student communication
- Comfortable managing a caseload spanning middle and high school students
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Work collaboratively across two campuses to implement IEPs for assigned caseload
- Provide services to diverse groups of students, adapting strategies to individual needs
- Collect and maintain accurate documentation related to student progress and service delivery
- Support teachers, staff, and families in understanding and fostering best communication practices in the classroom
Flexibility and Scheduling:
- Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week (7 hours daily, excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Part-time options available, no less than three days per week
This is an onsite-only position focused on engagement and hands-on support within the school community.
