School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Sugar Land, TX

What you’ll bring:
• Active SLPA licensure
• Previous school-based SLPA experience – secondary age group preferred
• Comfort with AAC devices in an educational setting (experience highly valued)
• Flexibility to potentially support up to two school sites, primarily staying at one location
• Experience managing caseloads (average 80–90 students; volume may adjust to your expertise)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with other therapy team members and educators
• Ability to complete and maintain state-required background check and fingerprinting
• Willingness to disclose previous employment (including whether you’ve worked for this district or any prior terminations, as this is required for consideration)
Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to middle and high school students
• Assisting with IEP implementation and progress monitoring
• Collaborating with supervising SLPs and educational staff
• Supporting students who utilize AAC devices
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation according to school and state standards
• Floating between campuses only as needed, with site determined by your residential proximity
