Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license for Massachusetts
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, supporting students from elementary through middle school
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage time efficiently while balancing caseload responsibilities across multiple sites
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and student needs
- Comfortable utilizing technology for reporting and remote collaboration when necessary
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language interventions as directed by supervising speech-language pathologists
- Conduct small group and individual sessions with students according to their IEPs
- Document student progress, session notes, and relevant data in compliance with school and state protocols
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and confidence
- Liaise with teaching staff and families regarding student progress and areas of need
