Qualifications & Required Credentials:

  • Active certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Relevant state licensure in good standing
  • Ability to work effectively with K-12 students in both individual and group settings
  • Prior experience in a school or healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapeutic plans
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation as required
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and contribute expertise
  • Adapt sessions to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students across grade levels
