Qualifications & Required Credentials:
- Active certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Relevant state licensure in good standing
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students in both individual and group settings
- Prior experience in a school or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapeutic plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation as required
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and contribute expertise
- Adapt sessions to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students across grade levels
