Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure and/or certification as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Demonstrated experience or passion for pediatric and school-based settings
- Proficiency in delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability—role includes traveling between two school buildings (15 minutes apart)
- Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the end of the school year
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide compensatory speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Deliver assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate effectively with general and special education staff, families, and support personnel
- Foster an inclusive and productive learning environment for children of diverse backgrounds and needs
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Create engaging interventions tailored to individual student goals
- Adapt quickly between locations and adjust to the needs of two distinct school communities
This is a full-time, contract position, running Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:45pm, with a 20-minute lunch break. The role is primarily focused on compensatory services for elementary students, and you’ll have the chance to shape positive outcomes across two welcoming school sites.
