School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Poland, Maine

You’ll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and education staff to deliver high-quality, individualized therapy services that make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Maine (SLPA ME certification required)
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children
- Ability to travel between multiple preschool sites within the district
- Reliable communication and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students under the guidance of a supervising SLP
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Develop engaging activities and assist with therapy materials
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and supervising clinicians
- Adapt to various school environments as you travel to assigned preschool locations
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25 preschool students
Role Details:
- Contract position with immediate start
- Commitment through the end of the school year
- 32 hours per week, following the school schedule
