Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an SLPA or SLP in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
- Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented, flexible, and reliable
- Ability to track progress and maintain clear, organized documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a certified SLP (for SLPA candidates)
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support learning objectives
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations and reevaluations
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment where students feel empowered to communicate
