Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a SLPA or SLP
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet a diverse range of student needs
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication development
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing updates and recommendations for student progress
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress according to school guidelines
- Engage students through creative, evidence-based therapy strategies
- Assist in developing and revising treatment plans based on student response and progress
