Speech Therapist Assistant in Baltimore, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology Assistant licensure
- Ability to provide clear images of relevant credentials upon request
- Experience working with PreK–5th grade students preferred
- Familiarity with school-based settings and supportive communication strategies
- Compliance with House Bill 486: successful completion of district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review required
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students under supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support implementation of individualized education program (IEP) goals in coordination with educational teams
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families for optimal student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Assist in adapting materials and activities to students’ developmental needs
