Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Osseo, MN
Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting students’ communication goals as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Your expertise will be utilized across two campuses, offering variety and the chance to work with diverse student populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold a current Minnesota SLPA license with dual certification visible (required—pending licensure will not be accepted)
- Demonstrated experience or internship work within school settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different age groups and campus cultures
- Passion for fostering student growth and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as directed by supervising SLPs
- Implement IEP-driven therapy sessions using best practices and data-driven strategies
- Assist with planning, preparing, and organizing therapy materials and activities
- Collect progress data and maintain accurate documentation per district and legal standards
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Travel between Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover ES-HS campuses as scheduled
