Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Osseo, MN
Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ communication development in an educational setting. This contract opportunity seeks two onsite, part-time Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) ready to foster positive, lasting change in the lives of students. Located in thriving communities with assignments at Northdale MS (0.7 FTE) and Andover ES-HS, you’ll provide essential services throughout the school year, working closely with students and collaborating with educators and supervising SLPs. Your commitment will span from late August 2026 through early June 2027, aligning with the start and end of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Current and active Minnesota SLPA license; candidates must upload both resume and PDF of licensure with dual certification clearly displayed
- Previous experience supporting students in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse student populations
- Excellent documentation habits and time management abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards
Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in delivering therapy sessions and interventions to support students’ speech and language development
- Implement therapeutic activities as outlined by supervising SLPs, both independently and in group settings
- Keep accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with supervising therapists and education teams
- Support IEP implementation and contribute to student success through proactive engagement and observation
- Adapt and modify activities as appropriate for individual student needs, following school policies and procedures
