Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Previous experience in K-12 educational or pediatric healthcare settings
- Strong ability to implement therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Energetic, adaptable, and dedicated to positive student outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Carry out speech and language intervention sessions with students as directed by a supervising SLP
- Document progress, maintain service logs, and assist in preparing materials
- Support IEP (Individualized Education Plan) implementation and participate in team meetings as needed
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive learning environment for students with diverse backgrounds and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and the multidisciplinary team to maximize student success
