Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification
- Experience working as an SLPA in schools, clinics, or healthcare facilities
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Confidence in supporting direct and indirect speech/language interventions
- Effective communicator—both with students and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in dynamic educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision and direction of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with student IEPs
- Document therapy activities and student progress in a timely, accurate manner
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Adapt therapy resources and strategies to meet unique student needs
- Maintain compliance with all regulations and ethical practices in school-based therapy
