Key Qualifications:
- Active State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other staff
- Commitment to fostering communication development in students of diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual and group speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collect and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session data
- Support IEP development by providing input and assisting with assessments
- Communicate regularly with families and educational staff regarding student progress
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment within the school community
