Speech Pathologist Assistant in Vista, CA
Make a difference in the lives of TK-8th grade students by working as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in a supportive school environment. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 9, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience with school-based services or pediatric populations preferred
- Commitment to providing direct and indirect speech therapy services
- Strong communication abilities and collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable, organized, and eager to support students’ individual growth and achievement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to TK-8th grade students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with supervising Speech Language Pathologist and educational staff to develop and implement interventions
- Track student progress, document sessions, and contribute to meetings as appropriate
- Maintain professional standards while staying within the scope of contracted hours—no additional duties such as bus or parent pick-up are required
