A school district near Nashua, NH, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This school-based contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a K-12 caseload while helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy assistance to K–12 students under the supervision and direction of a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement therapy activities and strategies outlined in students’ individualized treatment plans.
- Support students in developing speech, language, social communication, and other targeted communication skills.
- Monitor student participation and progress during therapy sessions and communicate observations to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation in accordance with supervisory guidance, school district policies, and applicable regulations.
- Assist with therapy materials, activities, and other duties within the scope of SLPA practice.
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility for licensure.
- School-based experience is preferred, but experienced clinicians, new graduates, and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
