Requirements and Preferred Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility in Idaho
- Experience working in school settings or with young learners is highly valued
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of students ranging from 1st to 5th grade
- Detail-oriented approach for maintaining records and documenting student progress
- Organizational skills and reliability in managing a dynamic caseload
- Commitment to supporting student success in a diverse school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement therapy activities in small groups or individual sessions for students in grades 1 to 5
- Support students in developing receptive and expressive language, articulation, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create and monitor student goals
- Collect data and maintain precise student records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
