Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or equivalent
- Valid and current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Experience or training working with elementary-aged children (1st–5th grade) is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students individually or in small groups as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in implementing speech and language therapy goals for children in 1st through 5th grade
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities tailored to each student’s IEP
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights for student success
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce communication strategies throughout the school day
