Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Moreno Valley, CA

As an SLPA, you’ll work face-to-face with students, assisting in the delivery of therapeutic services under a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) and covers a contract period from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Exact caseloads and day-to-day responsibilities will be provided as the start date approaches, but you can expect an engaging and meaningful role supporting students’ growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in California
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and take direction from supervising SLPs
- Passion for supporting students’ educational and social development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Collect and record data for progress monitoring
- Support students’ communication goals within varied classroom environments
