Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or certification as required by state guidelines
- Prior experience in a school setting and/or with elementary-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Ability to organize therapy materials and document student progress accurately
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for students PreK-5th grade
- Provide direct speech and language support services in both individual and group settings
- Record and track student progress, assisting with data collection and reporting
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom learning and student success
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and parent conferences, as needed
- Assist in preparing instructional materials and adapting activities to meet student needs
