- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans designed by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Work with students individually or in small groups to help achieve speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and the preparation of therapy materials
- Communicate student progress and needs to supervising SLPs and educational staff
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students with language or communication challenges
