Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Speech Language Pathologist in providing therapy services
- Implement treatment plans developed by the SLP
- Work with students individually and in small groups
- Document student progress and therapy sessions
- Support speech, language, articulation, and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district guidelines
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Assisting or related field
- Active Maryland SLPA License or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
