- Readiness to fulfill district requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and completion of House Bill 486 employment history review
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical and supportive student care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support services under the supervision of a certified SLP
- Implement therapy plans, interventions, and modifications based on student needs
- Conduct group and individual sessions as determined by caseload assignments
- Accurately maintain student records and progress notes
- Collaborate with general educators, special education staff, and families
- Travel between assigned schools if necessary (number of sites/caseload to be determined)
- Participate in school-based meetings and prescreen interviews as part of the selection process
