Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLPA professional licensure required
- Previous experience in school settings highly desirable
- Comfortable working with a range of student ages (specific caseload details to be determined)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be available for full-time, on-site hours (37.5 hours/week)
- Completion of House Bill 486 compliance: district background check/fingerprinting and employment history review
- Readiness to provide images of license(s) for credentialing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under SLP supervision
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt therapy techniques to support students' diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate therapy records and progress notes
- Participate in student-focused meetings and collaborate on educational plans
- Engage in ongoing professional development throughout the school year
