Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time, onsite school-based position in Boise, Idaho for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children and supporting speech and language development in an educational setting.
The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services and support students in achieving their communication goals.
Position Details:

- Setting: School-Based
- Hours: 6–12 Hours Per Week
- Start Date: August 2026
- End Date: End of School Year (EOSY)
- Onsite Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing speech and language treatment plans.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals.
- Collect therapy data and maintain accurate session documentation.
- Prepare therapy materials and activities to support student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the supervising SLP to support student success.
- Monitor student performance and communicate progress to the supervising therapist.
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Active Idaho SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Ability to work effectively with students in a school setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
