School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Memphis, Tennessee

The role is ready for immediate start on a year-round basis. Each week you'll collaborate closely with other professionals, serving a diverse K-8 caseload in schools, then working with clients by appointment in the clinic. Both SLPAs and SLPs are welcome to apply—if you have a passion for supporting young learners' communication needs, this opportunity is tailored for you.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or eligibility (consideration also given to SLPs)
- Experience or coursework in school-based and/or healthcare settings is highly valued
- Understanding of speech-language therapy techniques for diverse student populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support services under supervision, in both school and clinic settings
- Implement therapy plans developed by certified staff, monitoring and documenting student/client progress
- Adapt interventions to meet varied student and clinic client needs
- Work collaboratively with educators, caregivers, and clinic staff
