School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Manhattan, IL

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification
- Experience delivering therapy services to students in a school environment is highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy sessions for a designated caseload under SLP supervision
- Carry out individualized education plan (IEP) goals, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
- Communicate regularly with students’ families and educational teams regarding therapy progress
- Assist in developing and preparing materials and activities that promote student participation and progress
- Participate in school meetings as required to support student achievement and goals
