Seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Ludlow, MA
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Ludlow, MA. This candidate will support the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students with a range of communication disorders. This position emphasizes collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and academic success.
• Schedule: Full-time (32.5 hours/week)
• Caseload: A specialized setting for high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or other learning differences, focusing on personalized, supportive education outside traditional settings to build skills for independence.
• Contract Dates: August 27, 2026 - June 22, 2027

Responsibilities
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy activities based on student goals.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate service records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student communication needs across educational settings.
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Must have strong experience with AAC devices
