Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active SLPA license or certification in Massachusetts
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus, though not required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Passion for helping students overcome barriers to academic and social success
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student communication needs
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Support a variety of students across general and special education classrooms
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and relevant trainings related to speech and language support
