Travel School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Los Angeles, California

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support in a school setting in Los Angeles, CA. This position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, supporting a caseload of approximately 30-35 students across elementary and middle school levels. The role involves travel within the area to effectively serve student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload of students.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes on student performance.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Certification or licensure as an SLPA, preferably with experience in school environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young learners.
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel between school sites within Los Angeles.
