Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Live Oak, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field, or an Associate degree from an SLPA program
- Current, active SLPA certification or license
- Solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities—capable of working efficiently under pressure and in crisis situations with staff and families
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed during the school day
- Ability to provide services on site according to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech and language services to students per their IEPs
- Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educational staff to ensure high-quality care
- Document progress and engage families in the therapeutic process
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing school-based speech services
