Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license required
- Previous experience in school-based and/or healthcare settings as an SLPA
- Familiarity with best practices for K-8 populations
- Ability to follow directives and therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one and in small groups to deliver direct therapeutic services under the supervision of a credentialed SLP
- Support students in developing essential communication, social, and language skills
- Implement and document therapy sessions according to established protocols and goals
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support integration of therapy objectives into classroom settings
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with the supervising SLP and participate in team meetings
